The Office Alliance Podcast - An Office Podcast

Life has thrown us a curveball this week, and the episode isn’t quite ready to post yet. We’re working hard at it and will get it posted sometime Tuesday. Sorry for the delay!

We’re all a little dumbfounded over here at TOA headquarters. We found out today that we have been featured as a “New and Notable” podcast in the TV & Film category in the iTunes Podcast Directory! Melody is screaming, Kimberly is squeeing, and I’m sitting here mute in shock! I think it’s safe to say that this kind of attention is beyond what any of our crazy imaginations could come up with. Thanks, iTunes! And welcome to all new listeners!

Thanks so much for the great response we’ve had to the podcast so far! We very much appreciate the feedback we’ve gotten so far, and would love to hear more. I wanted to mention a couple of notes regarding future episodes:

• We are working on making the podcast’s file size smaller. We’re still somewhat new to a lot of this software, so it’s something of a learn-as-you-go experience for all of us. Anybody familiar with how to do this using the Audacity software or some other means, please pass on the info!

• Our intent is to have all episodes of the podcast be around 30 minutes long, and for the format to be relatively fluid. The only segments that will be in every episode are the Scranton Scoop and Fandomnicity. (Unless, of course, there is zero “Office” news or fandom news to report, in which case we would be very sad pandas.) The others will rotate in and out as we feel is appropriate and relevant.

• Look forward to a great Employee of the Week (fan interview) segment coming up in the near future!

• We’re aiming toward a consistent weekly Monday release date of the podcast.

• Tell your “Office” fan friends!
