Hey guys, it’s me again (”fandom-collision” chick). ;) I’ve wanted to be a more active commenter/community member here, but alas, my free time seems to shrink exponentially! :( But I was listening to this latest episode and I just had to speak up. One show that I KNOW has a very-much active relationship with its fans is Heroes. Maybe not to the degree of official blogs of the actors giving little inside glimpses of the show, but between the graphic novels, online commentaries, and the awesome ARG (which entails text messages from one of the show’s fictional characters), the people behind Heroes are doing an excellent job (IMO) of pulling in and engaging the fans. I have to truly commend both shows for being wise enough to see that when you give the fans what they want, then you’ve got happy customers and yes, that translates into more $$$ for them, so it’s really a win-win-win situation. ;)

Bah, and I’m an idiot. I totally forgot to mention that I want to form… an alliance… with you. Because absolutely I do!!! :D
But in all seriousness can I join the super-secret club? Pretty please? *halo*

Hahaha WOW I feel dumb. Paused the podcast to write that before I lost my train of thought, went back to the podcast and Kimberly immediately said just that. Sorry guys! *sheepish grin*

Callie, don’t worry - if there’s one thing we love, it’s comments! I think the things that NBC is doing with “Heroes” are really interesting. I think that sort of interactive extra content is the sort of thing that takes a person from being a casual fan of a show to a much more involved and dedicated fan of a show. Good on NBC for making that happen!
