With your hosts Melody, Sarah, and Kimberly.

Performance Review (01:05): In which Stanley initiated “Branch Wars”; Jim, Dwight, and Michael leave Utica with battle scars; an exclusive club of the finer things is founded; and Fillipellers briefly returns (with a slight vengeance).

Email Surveillance (31:07): Listeners’ reactions to “Branch Wars”; some “Office” relationship discussion; and some good, old-fashioned Ryan-bashing.

In the podcast, you mentioned that you didn’t get why Michael and Dwight and Jim all took off at the same time.

When I saw the episode, I thought it was fairly obvious. Michael and Dwight walked in on the Jim-Pam Finer Things Argument, and told Jim that [whoever it was] had dropped Staples as their supplier and was now, essentially, a free agent. Michael wanted Jim, Dwight and himself to all go hit them up triple-team style to sign up with Dunder-Mifflin as a coup against Staples, and that was what convinced Jim to go.

Hope this helps. I imagine you’ve received a number of emails telling you that already, but in case not, there it is.

Love the podcast. Keep up the great work!

You know who else wasn’t in the episode? Kelly Kapour! I remember Mindy saying (since she wrote this one) that she tried really hard to get Kelly in it, but she just couldn’t.

I’m wondering what you girls are planning as far as this strike goes. It seems like it could last a long time. Would you consider going back and doing shows on more season two shows, or will you just stop until all is resolved? It seems like next Thursday could be the last Office for a while…

We haven’t gotten things completely figured out yet, Alison, but we’re not planning on going anywhere anytime soon. :)
