Episode #62 - Who’s Afraid of Jan Levinson?

icon for podpress  Standard Podcast [33:54m]: Download

With your host Melody, and special guest KP from The Two Cents.

Performance Review (0:54): Everyone. Everyone is afraid of Jan Levinson. She takes us by the hand and shows us just how crazy desperation can be. Jim shows some nerve, Dwight shows some ingenuity, Pam shows some legitimate fear, and Michael shows what happens when you allow yourself to be turned into an unwilling and unwealthy sugar daddy. Angela, on the other hand, does not show her belly.

    Melody,

I really enjoyed this episode of TOAP a lot. I didn’t particularly like “Dinner Party,” but after listening to you and KP talk about it, I think I will have to give it another shot.

Loved the podcast review of “Dinner Party”. KP was a very nice addition.

I missed the other 2 girls, but the susbstitute was an excellent addition.

I thought this was the most laugh out loud episode I’ve seen of The Office. It might not the best story-wise, but the laughs were abundant.

Aww first new show back and we don’t have Kimberly and Sarah…boo! =)

I only have one word to describe Dinner Party: relentless. What has happened to the documentary about a small paper company and its workers? Ugh.

I am looking forward to Night Out (written by Mindy K.) and the finale (written by Paul L.) Along with Jen Celotta those have been my favorite writers of the show.

One thing I would like to mention how you thought that in Fun Run you guys thought that Pam walking in on Micheal as a set up on Jan thinking that Pam was Micheal’s “ex lover”. Also what’s with everyone thinking Pam’s a slut????

I love that your brought up the fact that Greg Daniels played Michael’s neighbor in the past, because I do think that could be him in that scene. Check out this deleted scene, in which he actually has an awesome line!

    (it’s deleted scene #4)

Oooh, Alison! Thanks for that link! The neighbor looks totally Greg Daniels-shaped. And I think that sounds like it could be his voice? I’m totally convinced that it’s him now.

I thought KP was a very nice addition (even though I missed Sarah and Kimberly!). Maybe consider having him as a guest host from time to time? Especially when someone is going to be gone. Just a suggestion…

    Hi there-
I missed the other two gals … I really like listening to the ladies perspective on the show. I did like the addition of KP and I think you guys should consider having a special guest guy star once in awhile even if all three of you are there

Continuity error or sign of Jan’s psychosis?

“The Client”: Jan says she got divorced because she wanted kids, Gould didn’t, and so they got divorced

“Dinner Party”: Jan does not want kids …

    hmmmm….
