Episode #63 - I Have to Say

With your hosts Sarah, Melody, and Kimberly.

Performance Review (00:54): “Chair Model” - The men of The Office are all seeking triumph in their respective struggles. Michael says one thing but means another, and can’t decide what he really wants out of life. Kevin and Andy win one for the little guy. Oh, and by the way, JIM BOUGHT A RING.

Email Surveillance (41:45): Listener reactions (to a lot of things). Dinner Party! The future of the show! The spin-off! Your mom!

Ah, you read my email, and commented on it, I got the full on agreement of both Sarah AND Kimberly, and I got to hear Melody sing.

Plus, it was an hour long episode.

Could this possibly have been a more perfect episode?

(Other than you also reading my thoughts on “Dinner Party,” as well as the Office spinoff (but I understand why you didn’t.)?)

I think not. Awesome. I (heart) you all.

Keep the faith Melody. Jim will propose and Pam will say yes and all will be right with the world. Or she will say “I can’t” and Jim will be crushed and moves to Utica. Either way.

On that note, I did have a brief flash that we will get Jim asking Pam with her indeed replying “I can’t…”(que look of horror on Jim’s face….she then continues)”…believe it took you so long to ask me.” She pranks him then happily ever after ensues.

    =)

Oh, wow. Craig, that’s a BRILLIANT idea.

I myself hold the pet theory that something’s going to happen (Jim will do some sort of jerk thing, or something else) leading to conflict between Jim and Pam in the penultimate episode, and then when Jim does propose, it cuts to black before Pam answers.

Of course, I also entertain the wildly insane notion that Jan will contact Karen and form an alliance to destroy Pam. But that’s maybe just a tad heavy for a light comedy.

I don’t know Mike..having Jim and Pam not speak to each other for virtually all of season 3 seemed a tad heavy for a light comedy. Who knows what those diobolical writers have in store…

Okay, waaaaaaaait a second. The only person who gets to form an alliance with Karen is me. And it’s going to be called the BFF alliance. And we’ll also ally ourselves with awesome. Me, Karen, and Awesome. And that’s it! No Jim!

Amy Adams is appearing in the finale as The Hot Girl again. NBC just revealed that. Yay!

I would like to see Jim and Pam just being the perfect couple for now…

Meanwhile, there´s Dwight and Angela and Andy! How is that going to continue?

Also, it would be nice to see more episodes like “classic” The Office episodes. Such as: Office Olympics, The Coup, Safety Training, etc.

    Do we all miss Karen?

Finally, Amy Adams?! I love her :)

Never mind about Amy Adams. The report was wrong. It’s Amy Ryan. No return of The Hot Girl.

What I think the conflict for Jim and Pam would be their fight against the “world” aka the rest of the office.

Also no more of the sad panda toby oh well… :(
I would also have to say jims hair wierd this episode.

    Sarah, Melody, and Kimberly ….

Sometimes I think you really need a male viewpoint on your show. All of you think that Michael is confused and doesn’t know what he wants. Any man could probably tell you that he does know what he wants …

He wants companionship, children, etc., etc., etc., ….

With a thin, beautiful woman with huge boobs!

It’s perfectly understandable from a male point of view.

I don’t know if anybody’s come up with this yet, but I never wondered about why Creed needed one more chair. The first thing that came to my mind was that he wanted three chairs to make a bed, since he stays in the office sometimes. (or did.) It just makes sense, I think. Then again, I sleep all the time, so I may have an extra bed-making knowledge bank.
