Enjoyed the podcast. I really love the theory of Toby attacking Jim passive-aggressively through Ryan, but the writers of the episode shut down that notion. In a Q&A on Officetally, they say Toby was just doing his job and not being malicious.

@Cool Guy Ryan: Yeah, I saw those Q&As later. Also, deleted scene #3 helps shoot my theory down, too.

Ryan Howard is such a poopnozzle. Don’t you want to just slap him? I love it!

The other possibility is that Brent Forrester and Justin Spitzer are wrong about Toby, though. So what if they “wrote the episode.” That doesn’t make them GOD. Because I TOTALLY, totally buy Sarah’s theory.
Toby is the WORST. (Not that I don’t still love him, but he’s the worst.)

Haha, I agree. We’re the audience, they don’t have a salary without us. We get to decide to make Toby more interesting. While I’m at it, I’ll demand Carol come back and start dating Kevin. They both need someone.

Ladies are you going to give any finale predictions on the next podcast?

I think the deleted scene is pretty unambiguous. Going after Jim was not Toby’s idea. The only reason he fixated on the “Pam” stuff in his talking head is because that’s what his own mind is stuck on.
All of the characters are shown to be well-rounded. Which means that they don’t always show their best sides. No matter who you are, there’s someone who thinks you’re a jerk for something you’ve done. Jim can be a jerk, Dwight can be a jerk, Michael can be a jerk, and Toby can be a jerk. But that doesn’t undermine the fact that Toby and Jim are both pretty decent people.

Good points, acsenray. I think they’re all decent people, even Andy and Michael. The only actual horrible person I see is Angela. The Christian.

Great episode once again ladies. I still couldn’t believe Toby and Ryan in this episode. I hate how they are totally ganging up on Jim. They definitely need to get some sense knocked into them.

Hey, Britt! We talk about our plans for the summer in episode #66, which will come out tonight. But basically, we’ll still be podcasting! …just not quite as much.
