Hey Guys I love your podcast. Listen to it at work.
I liked “Business Trip”,and i love dwight!but one thing bothered me what was the point of the scene with Dwight and Jim where Dwight is insulting Pam’s art…it wasnt a long scene and it seemed kind of pointless and mean.

Sometimes I wonder who decides what scenes to remove. There is a deleted scene up between Jim and Pam that I think really is helpful in showing what her direction in the field of artistry in. I have no idea why they chose to leave it out.
On that note, why will Pam be a lesser person if her dream doesn’t pan out? She gave it her best shot, and found that she woudl rather be with Jim more than struggle through a subject she did not enjoy. This thought that if Pam doesn’t become an artist then her life is ruined is frankly silly. If she chooses to marry Jim and start a family while doing art for her own pleasure I see nothing wrong with that. She did the hard part - she took the risk and went for it.

Yes, the timeline is stupid and I hates it, but I agree that it’s probably the new writers. The timeline Bible that we would like to think exists just doesn’t. Maybe we should get together and send them one?

Another fantasy: wouldn’t it be awesome if Jim started blogging about sports and got paid for it, while Pam started a cartooning blog?! Then they can live in Scranton or Philly and no one will have to bitch about NYC ever again. Hoorah!

And I think Andy just might be a drunk-savant when it comes to Angela. Like being profound when you’re high. Or Creed. Same thing.

off-topic from ew.com: “Quality television took a serious hit on Thursday with news that ABC has opted not to order additional episodes of Pushing Daisies, Eli Stone and Dirty Sexy Money for this season. The network isn’t commenting, but multiple sources confirm that all three shows have effectively been canceled.”

    sorry ladies!

:o I know! I saw on The Hollywood Reporter that Pushing Daisies had been cancelled, and my first thought was, nooooooooooooooo, the office alliance ladies loved that show! :’(

Thanks, Craig and Dirk… despite the fact that it had gotten to the point where I knew cancellation of Pushing Daisies was pretty much inevitable, it still sucks to have my favorite show canceled. Wahhhhhhhhh. :(
