With your hosts Kimberly, Melody, and Sarah.

Performance Review (1:07) - “Lecture Circuit (parts 1 and 2)” - Michael and Pam go on tour together and find closure along the way, Dwight and Jim become a fearsome party-planning duo, Andy doesn’t get the girl (or the sale), Angela gets the cat (and a hairball), and suddenly “The Office” becomes the show it used to be…kind of feels like business-as-usual.

Email Surveillance (42:34) - Feedback from listeners about “Stress Relief” and “Lecture Circuit.” Plus Sue from the Trivia War Podcast challenges us to another contest. It is SO ON!

I really did enjoy Lecture Circuit - it’s my favorite so far this season.

I understand the point that Angela is going through a tough emotional time. However, I would argue that a real person would seek comfort from their beloved pets. I think it would have worked better with seeing Angela come home to break up the…festivities. Then instead of having Angela lick the cat like a cartoon character, maybe have her hiss like she did and then the other cat coming back into the picture and attacking her.

And if Angela is this hard-core cat lady, she would know that her licking the cat would actually do it more harm than good. But this wasn’t written for any kind of logic; it was simply put in to make us all cringe.

Sorry if I rant about this but I felt strongly that the episodes were so great without having to put that in for the broad silly humor.

I have to say that I am slightly disappointed in you ladies. I count on you for a good portion of my Office news and was surprised to hear that you didn’t know why there were going to be two episodes in one night in March. They are placing a half-hour episode of The Office both before and after the new Amy Poehler show, Parks and Recreation, in the hope of roping Office viewers into watching the new series. I will forgive you for now, but I expect more from you in the future. :-)

So it looks like John is going to continue his streak of movies with amazing casts that turn out to be well-nigh unwatchable. Hopefully “Away We Go” breaks the curse. Also, “Away We Go”? That’s kind of cheesy.
