Blah my first boycotted Thursday and I read that Cafe Disco had some of the best Jim/Pam stuff since “It’s a date.”
    I can’t win. ;)

I can understand boycotting NBC–I want to boycott ABC for canceling Pushing Daisies. But I have to say, in my very humble personal opinion, I thought Cafe Disco was one of the best episodes in a LONG time!!

I lurved (not loved XD) this episode and it’s overall spirit it gave me in fuzzy warm feeling.
It was because there was a whole bunch of music in it and I love music and Andy. Can I speak for all of us that Andy thinking he was in a dance competition was unmistakably hillarious! What really topped it off was Jim and Pam dancing to YMCA! It was so incredibly dorky & so was both kellies dancing!!!!!!!! (& I would totally relate to it being that it played at all my high school dances!)I have to admit Jim did look cute when he was hoppping and he could totally pull it off. What can I say about Phyllis? Well she got what was coming to her for being so mean to Pam!”What comes around goes around.” Yup this summerizes my feelings for this episode. (This would’ve made for a good e-mail for e-mail survailance. If only I had submitted it earlier enough.) Sorry for the enormous space wasting comment XD

I am really bummed to hear you guys are ending the podcast but it is certainly understandable that it takes up a lot of your personal time to do it. Since I don’t know alot of other office fans, listening to you is my substitute for office talk. My husband watches with me, but he doesn’t get too excited over the JAM moments. Do you plan to keep up the blog, and maybe just post reviews ?

awwww…what a great podcast until the last few minutes with the announcement.

I love you girls! Listening to your podcast was like evesdropping on a conversation of diehard fans. I can’t tell you how many times I’d be listening and bust out into laughter…it would scare my cat sometimes LOL

Anyways, thank you for doing it. I really enjoyed it and wish you the best in your endevours

Wow, I am totally shocked and sad that you you guys will be disbanding. However, I completely understand the reason behind it. However here is an idea that maybe you can keep the blog up and going and maybe getting fans of the podcast to get to sign up for weekly e-mails or “newsletters” where all three of you ladies give your thoughts and opinions on the episode. Like Dusty said above, I don’t have many “office fans” either and would still love to have contact with my office friends. (That would be you ladies) We may not know each other in person, but these podcast made me feel that we were all close friends that share a love of The Office. But no matter what I wish you ladies all the best and hope for nothing but happiness and joy in all your lives. Take care ladies. Peace and love always.

Oh, ladies…it’s a damn shame that you can’t keep up with the podcast. I’m sorry hear it! Not the podcast, but your disbanding news. Yeah. I’m glad that this season has gone out on a high note and I hope that you do keep this site up by posting giant reviews during season 6…SIX SEASONS!!! Unreal.

    Best wishes!

How thrilled were y’all by tonight’s finale? I was definitely wrong, but I’m SO glad that I was!!!!!!! (And the episode on the whole was really good and funny, too. I DO wish it had been longer, though. It felt abrupt and short…)

And what?! Seriously!? WHY!? No, yeah, I get it, I barely found time to listen this week, I can’t imagine what recording must be like. So I’ve really, really, really loved listening to you guys -you kept me going this season! And, of course, when I re-watch the entire series this summer, I will go back and listen to old episodes of TOA that I haven’t heard yet.

Good summaries, once again! “DAMMIT MEREDITH! (fill in the blank)”

    Ladies,

Thanks for doing the podcast. I hope you all change your mind and come back for next season :)

But if these are the last shows I get to hear, then know that as a listener from very early on that you always left me satisfied and smiling.

If you guys do ever come back or decide to do a podcast someday either back here or on another series drop me a line - you will have a listener in me.

    Good luck all!!!!

    1. The finale sucked. An appropriate-aged woman in a stable and loving relationship getting pregnant is neither dramatic nor comedic. There are no worries, no problems. It’s just pablum. It’s lazy, and it’s a jump-the-shark moment.

    2. You were wondering about the logic of the number of salespeople with regard to the distribution of the clients. Think about it this way: Essentially, Dwight, Phyllis, Stanley, and Andy were taking a pay cut to pay for Ryan’s position. (Additionally, I’m sure that as a temp, he gets paid a lot less.)

I am truly sad to hear you ladies have only two podcast episodes left. I’m really going to miss you and echo the ideas of other comments here. Please keep up with the blog, at least to post random thoughts on the episodes. It’s probably hard to keep up with all the news and fan stuff, so don’t bother with that. I know where to find those things, but what I really value from you is your episode insights. I hope you can find a little time to at least keep sharing those once in a while!

I’ve been a loyal listener since nearly the beginning, and again, I’ll really miss you! Good luck!

    Dear acsenray,

The Office is a work of fiction. Pam Beesly is not a real person. Don’t take it so personally.

    Craig —

That’s exactly my point. Fiction isn’t about characters having great lives. Things that happen should either be comedic or dramatic. I’d be perfectly satisfied with this if there were any possibility of the pregnancy being a bad or unfortunate thing for Jim and Pam, but it won’t happen. That means the writers have locked themselves into hearts and flowers. Bad writing.
