Nice job on the podcast. It’s interesting to get a female point of view on Karen’s behavior. I can’t believe you gals skipped over discussing the end scene with Pam, Jim, Ryan and Kelly in the break room. I think that was one of the key scenes in the whole episode and kinda left a sour taste in my mouth.

Thanks for the podcast.
After asking for a clearer sound in my last post, I wanted to make sure to mention that the sound quality and “evenness” was really great this time around.
I agree with Malevolence - I was surprised that you didn’t get into the last scene where Pam asks Ryan to set her up.
Thanks again.

Late night “talks” between Jim and Karen?
I think you guys completely missed the mark on this one.
Obviously “talks” is code for “hot sex”.
This changes a lot of the conclusions you guys made about their “talks” if you look at it this way.
No wonder Jim doesn’t just want to ditch Karen!

I have heard people saying that “talks” is clearly a euphemism for sex, but my theory is that if they had been staying up late getting it on, Jim would have looked way happier about life. But I don’t know - people seem pretty split about this. We may have to address it in an Email Surveillance. But, on the other hand, given Karen’s desperate moves in the office, that wouldn’t necessarily be an unheard of tactic.
The crazy thing is that the three of us actually talked about both the talking vs. sex issue and the breakroom scene, we just wound up talking about it after we had stopped recording. We had already recorded for 40 minutes (we edit pretty ruthlessly to cut it down to the 20ish minutes we use). We stopped the recording, wound up continuing our discussion later on that night, and then said, “Crap! We should be recording this!”

Hey, Dave, thanks for following-up on your previous comment! We really appreciate the feedback and your continued support.
And, yeah, what Melody said about our un-recorded conversation about that scene. *doh* I had the same reaction as Malevolence–blech.
