I just heard the last cast. Cheers and regards to the O.A. staff.

I did just want to respond to ghe comments about my comkents about the season finale, just in case anyone is still checking this blog.

If you recall, my criticism of the pregnancy was that it was neither dramatic nor comedic.

One of the comments on the podcast disagreed with my conclusion, on the basis that it is only natural for Jim and Pam's relationship to progress as real relationships do.

That isn't my point. Of course it's fine for Jim and Pam's relationship to progress. But my point is that unless it is dramatic or comedic, such relationship progression should take place off screen.

If all you're going to do is shlw us a sunny, healthy relationship, then don't bother putting it in the foreground. Just put a big-bellied Pam in the background of scenes in which something dramatic or comedic is actually happening and the viewers will know all they need to know about that.

Mere "happy" is not good storytelling.;

Okay, all I can say is please have a reunion of some kind at some point in the future. Or something. I mean, so close to 100 episodes! But I do appreciate your desire to end on a high note. I can't tell you how hard I laughed when y'all were like, "Why does she start crying every time we bring her into the living room??" I think y'all's Sorting hat predictions were really good...but I really think that Jim and Pam are both half Gryffindor, half Hufflepuff, Meredith's not cool enough for Hogwarts and Creed's TOO cool. And my favorite episode of all time (if forced to pick one) was Beach Games.

But you ladies were just FABULOUS and LOVELY and WONDERFUL and I hate to see you go, but at least you went out with a bang! (and I hope you're not too mad at me for my false wedding prediction...)
