The Show
The Office Alliance Podcast is a fan-created, fan-based, fan-centric podcast about NBC’s Emmy-winning comedy, “The Office.” Segments of our show include:
- Performance Review: We briefly discuss the most recent episode.
- Email Surveillance: This is the part of the show where YOU get to participate! Send us your comments, emails and voicemails and we’ll incorporate them into the show.
- Scranton Scoop: A brief rundown of the week’s news and Office headlines with brief discussion of notable stories.
- Fandomnicity: We take a look at what’s happening in the fandom! New and popular fan-created labors of love including fan videos, icons and avatars, and a general showing of support for the fans who express their Office affection for the rest of us to enjoy, too.
- Callbacks: We discuss the callbacks we observe. This segment will not be included every week.
- Conference Room: We delve into an Office plot/storyline mystery. Discussion and any speculation is solely based on canon evidence from and about the show.
- Employee of the Week: Our fan interview segment where we interview people in the fandom including fan-fiction writers, fansite creators, and community moderators. This could be YOU! Please feel free to contact us with your comments and suggestions about this segment. This segment will not be included every week.
- Faxes from the Future: Our spoiler-free speculation segment! We discuss, in true fan form, what we might see, what we hope to see, and what we hope NOT to see in the show. This segment will not be included every week.
- Show wrap-up: We wrap it up and give you a hint at what’s to come in the following show!
We plan to keep the show’s running time less than an hour. There will be weeks when we expect the show to run about 40 minutes. Those weeks when we include the occasional special segment, however, will likely be about an hour long.
